The Honeywell Voyager XP 1470g is a high-performance general-purpose handheld barcode scanner designed for retail, POS and other demanding scanning environments. It uses an area-imaging 2D scan engine to accurately capture both traditional 1D barcodes and 2D codes, including codes displayed on digital screens and damaged or difficult-to-read barcodes.
The scanner features a durable gun-shaped design engineered to withstand 30 drops from 1.8 metres and 1,000 tumbles from 0.5 metres. It provides corded connectivity through USB, RS-232 and Keyboard Wedge interfaces and includes Honeywell's Scanner Management Utility (SMU) and EZConfig tools for configuration and deployment.
