One of the best budget boards out there for ryzen processors especially the 9800x3d with really good vrms and stable oc modes. Easy on the pocket and works like a rocket.

This board delivers strong performance, and solid cooling the making it a dependable choice. Would've loved to see a 20 or 40G type c ports in the rear, I think that is a missed opportunity, but overall I've had good experience with MSI motherboards in the past and I hope this one will last a long time, until my next upgrade.

The MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI is one of the best value motherboards for AM5 right now. Build quality is excellent, and it includes everything you’d want—PCIe 5.0, Gen5 M.2 support, Wi-Fi 7, and 5Gb LAN. It made my Ryzen 7 9800X3D build super easy with smart features like a tool-less M.2 latch and debug LEDs.
BIOS is clean and overclocking is simple. The only downside is that USB4 is missing, and you need to check the manual to avoid M.2 lane sharing issues. Some users also report brief boot delays due to RAM training, but it’s fixable in BIOS.
Highly recommend for gamers and power users who want next-gen features without breaking the bank.
