S-Tech PCIe 4-Port USB 3.0 Expansion Card
The S-TECH STC-VIA4U is a 4-port USB 3.0 expansion card based on the VIA VL805 USB
3.0 Host Controller. It adds four high-speed USB ports to desktop computers, workstations,
and industrial PCs through a single PCI Express x1 interface.
The adapter supports USB 3.0 SuperSpeed data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps and is
backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices, providing a convenient solution for
connecting external storage devices, printers, scanners, cameras, keyboards, mice, USB hubs,
and other USB peripherals. The VL805 supports PCI Express 2.0 x1 and is backward
compatible with PCI Express 1.0.
