The S-TECH STC-AX4S is a 4-port serial interface expansion card based on the ASIX
AX99100 PCI Express multi-I/O controller. It provides four independent RS232 serial ports
through a single PCI Express x1 interface, allowing modern desktop computers, workstations,
and industrial PCs to connect multiple serial peripherals.
The adapter is designed for applications requiring multiple reliable serial interfaces, including
industrial automation, POS systems, CNC machines, barcode scanners, data acquisition
equipment, modems, test and measurement equipment, and other industrial and
commercial serial devices.
The AX99100 supports a PCI Express x1 interface and provides four UART channels with
hardware/software flow control and integrated 256-byte transmit and receive FIFOs.
